This blog is not a blog of sympathy, but awareness. My intentions for this is to meet other pilots wives and to show this lifestyle is not GLAMOROUS!
Yesterday gave me chills all down my body. I was sitting looking at my ipad and I had a breaking news alert from our local news station. Two airplanes had collided. I suddenly knew what kind they were before it was ever told. You see this time of year the THOUGHT to any person in the ag community would be CROP DUSTERS! I suddenly felt sick. It was later confirmed that it was indeed two crop dusters. One had passed away and the other alive. You see, I then think of my husband first and then all his friends. The ag pilot world is small, So this kind of loss is usually a friend, or friend of a friend. Its a small family tied together by this dangerous, but yet fun career. Im amazed by this crop duster community that comes together to support the family of the lost. Please keep the Miles family in your prayers.

About agwife

The purpose of this blog was a outlet for me to share about being of a agpilot's wife. On August 18th, 2015 my husband was killed while cropdusting. I am now using this as a journal for my family's journey through life. I am still a stay at home mom. I attend college part-time to obtain a Social work degree. Thank you all for reading and taking the time to comment. Love yall
