A Christmas to remember

In three days it will be Christmas. I get so excited the closer it gets! I love thinking about everyone opening the gifts that were carefully and thoughtfully picked out for them. But this Christmas is also a special time to reflect on what is really important!

As of last week America’s world turned upside down. People’s lives were shattered to no return. I can not fathom how painful 26 parents hearts feel. Knowing their children will not spend the most important holiday of the year with them and how their house might feel without children asking “when is Santa coming?”

So as I sit and look at the picture of my babies with Santa I cherish it more than ever! I look at my tree with all the gifts and I think, thank you Lord! I can hand my babies gifts this year! This Christmas is more special for me than ever. It’s a Christmas I will always remember.

Lets all reflect and thank God for his sacrifice. Giving up his son so we might live. And remember the hurt he must have felt. For their are parents at this very moment feeling the same hurt! Hug your kids and your family. Tell them you love them, it may be your last.

Merry Christmas and remember Jesus is the reason for the season!
