Big Faith: understanding God’s will

God’s will. What does that mean to you?? Faith?? What does that word mean to you??

All of my life I have questioned God’s will. I have experienced divorce as a child. I have experienced being a prodigal daughter; straying from God in my younger days and then RUNNING back home. I have experienced the greatest pain any person could ever experience.

I have also experienced a wonderful stepfather, a testimony that has molded me by the forgiveness of Jesus, comfort from the sting of death, and a answered prayer for a Godly man for my kids and I.

I now do not question the will of God. His will for my life has been proven time and time again. I have seen it with my own eyes and confirmation through my trust and faith in him. So what do I mean in faith.

Faith can be defined as a firm belief in something for which there is no proof; complete trust.

Faith is something we can’t see. God’s will for our life is something we do not know. So faith and God’s will is something BIG! Something we must be willing to except and trust in!!! When something extremely bad happens in our life all we have is faith that his will his good. His will is best. His will is good.

Some will not understand the plan I have excepted! God sent me a wonderful and Godly man six months after Chad’s death. I had never met this man. I had only heard of his name. God placed us together by his hand only! Not by ours!! He put us together because God knew I needed him to heal and to see that God’s will was much bigger than I had planned!!

I had prayed for a Godly man. My family prayed for a Godly man. Chads parents had prayed for a good Godly man. God answered this prayer sooner than we all imagined. Sooner than anyone imagined.

His will and our faith intertwined so perfectly that in some ways it has been mind blowing and even scary. (Scary in a good way) A heavenly intervention for the good of our whole famliy.

I want everyone to know my whole family is so happy for us. My WHOLE family! This includes Chad’s family!!! They have seen God’s will! They have seen God’s love for our family! They have seen God’s hand’s at work.

I just want anyone going through a dark time and does not believe that God can intervene asap; he can! He can do whatever he wants!! He can make the darkest situation a bright one! He can taketh things and giveth! He can answer prayers. We have to have BIG Faith! We have to put our lives are in his hands!! His will for our lives is way better than our will!!

I beg that if you are not a son or daughter of Jesus you become one! I beg if you don’t have faith in him you pray to!! He is so good!!

So what does God’s will mean to you?? Do you trust it?? Do you have faith that is is good always?? Do you trust he can answer a prayer you may think is impossible??

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
