You Were Created for This Moment

Yesterday I saw a very influential verse twice. It is from Esther 4:14.

“For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

I love this verse so much.

Esther was loved and cherished by a Persian king. He adored her beauty and intelligence. She stood out to him, I believe because she was real and authentic. But she had a secret and  if by chance the king knew,  it may have changed his outlook and infatuation with her. Esther was a Jew. She and all of her people were the enemy to the king. Esther loved her people, but yet knew that by being queen she could save them. She was brave and knew that she had to tell the king and she also knew that she could only survive with the provision of God’s great power and mercy.

She put down her fears, walked straight up to the king and  pleaded with the king to save her people and even tattles on a man name Haman who had stirred up this mess in the first place.

Esther sacrificed everything to save the one’s she loved and even a chance at being queen. But her sweet guardian Mordecai gives her empowerment with words that we all can live by, “And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Perhaps Esther this is the moment you were created for. Like born to accomplish. This plan for her life was known before the creation of the earth. This was not a fluke moment, but what Esther was born to do. Although her job was not finished after that moment, but this is what set the stage for God to be glorified.

Sisters and brothers stand firm in the storm and in the scariest moments. Remember, I was created for this moment by GOD and he will prevail. Good will arise from it. People may get saved. You may be closer to the Lord than you ever have before. Your kids may see the change in you and also follow the Lord for a lifetime.

I am positive Esther was wanting to run the other way and not face the king that could end it all for her, but with BIG FAITH she ran toward the storm and trusted God with the outcome.

This is hard. Very Hard. A struggle we all have everyday. I struggle. But when looking at the beauty and elegance of Esther, the strength and BIG faith she poured out, why cant we be like that? We Certainly serve the same God she did. He promises us that struggles will come, but when we read on, he also says that with suffering comes power from God. And God is ultimately Glorified through it. We may never see the outcome of our suffering like Esther, but God promises that it will all be worth it.

For those that need strength to face that King or storm, cling to the story of Esther. She confided in God for Strength, and then faced it head on, leaving fear at the waist side. Was she afraid, yes. But this story proves to us who always prevails. He may not calm the storm like we think he should, but guys he has planned our lives many moons before we were born. In this very moment you are made for it. Trust that God will give you strength, and also in that strength you will glorify the one that has given it to you.

Love yall,

Lacey
